Thank you for your interest in the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany (FPCW).  Please know that you and your family are welcome to come and share the presence of God with us at anytime! 

What an honor it is for me and my wife, Elizabeth, to participate in the leadership and worship at this historic yet progressive congregation at FPCW.  For you who may be church shopping, or considering a deeper relationship with God, or may be renewing or exploring for the first time what it means to know God in your life, FPCW has a spirit and opportunity for you to grow.  In fact, that word,” grow,” is central to our mission, which is to “Grow in Faith and Discipleship for Jesus Christ.”

Here at FPCW we have been growing faithfully in our warmth and hospitality, and in number.  Our children’s ministry, now with over 70 young people registered in our Sunday School and one of the most active junior high and senior high groups in the area, offers our young people opportunities to grow, learn and serve the Lord.  Our kids go on mission trips, attend and serve during vacation bible school, hear and learn about important life lessons through children’s messages on Sunday, and participate in worship as youth liturgists and in children’s choirs.  Our adults are offered many ways to grow spiritually through three different pastor-led bible studies, worship and music opportunities, and mission work in and outside of the USA.  But the heart and sole at FPCW is worshipping God.  Our adult members are encouraged to form a deeper relationship in their walk with God.

Our doors are open to you and your family, and we invite you as you explore our website to think and then pray about joining us, worshipping with us, and participating in fellowship with us, to hear God’s calling you here with our church family ministry at the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany.
