There is only one more Praise & Worship service with The Wright Family Band. The date is Sunday, August 8. On that date, we will host a little send off for Andrew, Beth and Craig as they leave for college. If you haven’t had a chance to meet this wonderful Christian family, please plan to join us on this date. Worship starts at 8:15 am. Remember the dress is casual, coffee is hot, refreshments are yummy, fellowship is fabulous and all surrounded with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We will continue with the Praise & Worship services; however, we currently have not selected a band. We have some exciting leads and we are very hopeful that things will fall into place. We are asking for your assistance in identifying any musicians or praise bands. Additionally we are also considering various possibilities for the start time for this service. We do not have any final answers, but we wanted to make sure that we shared our current endeavors with you.

The plans for the screen and projection system in the sanctuary are coming along and a final decision on a contractor will be made very soon. We are targeting an August installation date.

Please continue to keep the Worship Ministry in your prayers.

Each Sunday we provide a youth Christian based send out program that involves a bible lesson, a movie and a craft to correspond with the lesson. All lessons and materials will be ready for your use! All you need to do is teach from the heart and spread your love and enthusiasm for our Lord to our children. You even pick the date that is most convenient for you! If you would like to volunteer please contact a member of the Christian Education Ministry.

In July and August we need people to serve refreshments in the parish hall after church service. Please take time to check your calendar and sign up on the hallway bulletin board. We will “keep it simple” and serve only cold drinks, such as lemonade or iced tea along with cookies or crackers. If you have any questions, please contact Linda Gorman. Thank you for your help.
