Pastor Don Mossa

Pastor Don Mossa

Biography:

Pastor Don Mossa is a second career pastor who before entering the ministry had a successful corporate career as an executive in the environmental consulting industry.

Pastor Don’s ministry and preaching is focused on the relevance of the Gospel for our everyday lives with Jesus Christ.  He believes deeply that pastoral leadership means that disciples should work side by side with the pastor, and that we, as we do ministry together, share in each others joys and help bear each other’s burdens.

A graduate of Rutgers University and then Princeton Theological Seminary, Pastor Don did his ministerial internship in Scotland, where he and his wife, Elizabeth, experienced not only the essentials of our Presbyterian heritage, but also learned about the extraordinary hospitality that is still practiced by the standard bearers of our faith.

In worship and in his sermons, Pastor Don emphasizes that Christ is alive and working in our world and in our lives.  He believes that the Gospel is an instrument of healing, and that we are all on this journey of faith together and individually. Improving, and modernizing how the church proclaims the Gospel while encouraging today’s disciples to follow Jesus Christ are at the center of Pastor’s philosophy of ministry. “Growing in Faith and Discipleship for Jesus Christ” at FPCW is not just a Mission Statement, but a way of life.
