This past Sunday, we honored 50-year members Rosalie Hackman and Debbie Gibbons (not pictured) and 60-year member Jane Kohaut!

All children are invited to bring their backpack to church on

Sunday September 10th at 10:15AM so both they and their

backpack are blessed during our morning worship service.

Their backpacks are their constant companions as they go about

their school day and we would like to bless them and at the conclusion of the

blessing we will give them a special zipper pull to remind them that God is with

them and that their church family will be praying for them throughout the year.

Christmas Eve Worship Services

On Christmas Eve, there will be a 5PM as well as a 10:30 PM service of worship.  Both services will include candle lighting and the singing of traditional carols by the congregation.

The 5:00PM service will be child and family friendly, as we celebrate with wonder and joy the Gospel stories, scenes, and songs of Jesus' birth.

The 10:30PM service will include lessons and carols, the Sacrament of Communion, and the traditional welcome of Christmas with the singing of the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's "Messiah."

Christmas Morning Worship Service

at 10:15 am

This past Sunday, the church welcomed new members Steve and Lynda SanRoman (and family), Brian Carreira, and Janet Nelms.  Welcome to our church family!

Sarah Cairatti comes to Whippany First Presbyterian Church from Northern Virginia, where she joyfully served Clifton Presbyterian Church for the last four years as the Associate Pastor for Youth and Young Families. She graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, and Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York. At Union, she fell in love with creative ministry and met her husband Brian. In addition to her service in congregational ministry, Sarah led the PC(USA) Young Adult Volunteer program in Washington DC as the founding site coordinator, walking beside young adults as they did a year of service and discerned their vocational plans. She grew up in Franklin, Tennessee with her sister Rachel and was raised by a Presbyterian Elder (Dad) and Deacon (Mom).

This Sunday, August 28th, will be her first Sunday as our pastor.  Please join us for worship!
